
Richard Bibbs, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 11, 2017. He was born on October 24, 1950 in Indianapolis, IN to Bennie and Ernestine Bibbs. He was a 1968 graduate of North Central High School and a retiree of General Motors-Truck and Bus Division, where he worked for 34 years. Richard was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church.Richard is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gloria L. Bibbs, his son Richard Kyle Bibbs (Brett) and his daughter Dana Rae Bibbs; siblings; B. Louise Swanson, John Edward Bibbs, and Beverly MaHarry (Eugene). He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother, Ralph Bibbs. Richard will be dearly missed by a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, February 17th from noon to 1:00pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel located on 8151 Allisonville Road. A memorial service will begin at 1:00pm immediately following visitation.The Repass will be held at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church located at 9610 E 42nd Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46235 immediately upon completion of the memorial service.
